The Red Sunset Merchants Association (RSMA) is looking for a new board member.   Be part of a wonderful and dedicated group of merchants and business owners pursuing the best for the community!

The Red Sunset Merchants Association was formed in 1962 to aid the development and beautification of the areas surrounding Red Road and Sunset Drive, in South Miami, Florida. In addition, the association serves as a promotional body for merchants and businesses in the area, as well as a liaison to The City of South Miami.

Luncheon at Bougainvillea's

The Red Sunset Merchants Association (RSMA) conducted a business luncheon at Bougainvillea's on June 11th. The event was sponsored and catered by Bougainvillea's. Many merchants and business owners attended the luncheon. Commissioner Gabriel Edmond was also present at the event.

"We had an informative presentation since we had two important guest speakers scheduled for this event," stated René Aldonza, President of RSMA. Kevin Crowder from the Redevelopment Management Associates spoke about the proposed Business Improvement District project in the South Miami Community. Chief René Landa talked about safety and the involvement of the South Miami Police Department in the Community.

RSMA usually conducts a monthly event to promote and help the many businesses within the South Miami Community, states René Aldonza.
